PERSONAL:
I am the type of person who loves to try new things and have many hobbies. Since I am originally from Utah, I like to spend a lot of time outdoors. I grew up dancing, playing soccer, and dabbled in some tennis and volleyball; I also threw javelin on the track team and did a year of cheerleading. My family is big into hiking, mountain biking, and camping. I have a very strong German Shepherd Husky dog who likes to take me on walks (no that is not a typo), so my husband and I spend most of our free time training and playing with him. I also like to play the piano and violin. On my nerdy side, I like to read, watch anime and Korean dramas, embroider, cook, and do A LOT of puzzles. My career and education background is in language learning and teaching, so I’ve been able to live and work in the Czech Republic, Germany, China, and Japan. Unfortunately, I cannot really speak any of those languages, but I do know ASL, Spanish, and Portuguese. I get very excited to meet people from new places and talk about everything!
