Travel Letters

BYU does not excuse absences. You are responsible for informing your professors what days you'll be absent, completing missed assignments, and retaking missed exams. Get the ball rolling early and be proactive in your schoolwork.

The Built4Life center will send a letter to each of your professors detailing your travel dates at the beginning of the semester. These travel letters can be accessed at any time by clicking on an icon next to your name on the class roll. It's unlikely that they will remember every one of your absences, and if needed, you may remind your professor where to find the letter.
