University Accessibility Center

The University Accessibility Center (UAC) offers a variety of services for students with disabilities. Our student-athletes are encouraged to visit the UAC if they feel they require an accommodation.

Caution
Student-athletes who have an ADHD diagnosis and take stimulant medication must take an assessment at the UAC. Contact Nycole Larson to create the necessary appointment. Failure to complete this testing may result in being declared ineligible if the student-athlete is drug-tested and tests positive for any banned substance without proper files of their medication.

The UAC can provide the following:

Academic accommodations
ADHD evaluation
Assistive technology
ASL interpreters
Alternative textbooks
Accessibility lab
Temporary medical conditions

The athletic department will cover testing fees for certain disabilities. Communicate with your Academic Advisor if you have questions about the UAC. Don't hesitate to access these resources if they would be beneficial to you.

The UAC is located in room 2170 of the Wilkinson Student Center. Visit their website at https://access.byu.edu/ for more information on what the UAC can do for you.
